Retraso difuso y ligero de activación ventricular

Existen casos especialmente con cardiopatía (isquémica o cardiomiopatía) pero también pueden verse en individuos de la población general, probablemente como marcador de cardiopatía subclínica, que presentan un QRS ? 110 ms pero sin signos ECG específicos de BRD o BRI. Recientemente se ha demostrado (Aro, 2011) que incluso en ausencia de cardiopatía asociada, estos casos presentan una mortalidad aumentada.
